Rambhai has started his carrer in 1945 (post independence) as a stage performer in a Gujarati Nataka called (Juni Rangbhumi). Since he was a part of a nataka it was tought to him how to wear safa and slowly and steadily it became a side business for him. From 1990's it became a family business of his family and continued by his sons. In 90's his business only had 25 safa's of Bandhani. Today we have 1500 plus safas with the 19 different kinds of varieties.
